Studio:
Clean, well organized. Everything you need to take class: Mat, Blocks and Straps - no extra fee. This is nice when you want to go right after work. One thing to keep in mind, they have a unisex changing room which is pretty normal in Germany and fine with me, but might catch you by surprise if you are used to, for example, the strict separation in the US.
I really liked the atmosphere of the whole studio, very charming and inviting. In the room where the class was performed, you MIGHT fit 20 people if you squeeze, we were about 15 which gave you plenty of room around you. This felt much more personal than the large US studios with 30-40 people in one class and 2 inches between the mats (I guess you could argue about what is more personal, but I hope you get what I'm trying to express).
Class:
(obviously this is different per teacher, duh! )
I took Hatha Yoga (Focus - Back) with Kira.
Kira was super friendly and welcoming. Class was in German, obviously, we are in Germany. Clear cues and good verbal adjustments. She actually focused on the back as stated in the class title. I'm used to Vinyasa Flow, so the longer holding of poses in the Hatha style was quite hard for me but expected. If you are new, or do not know German, just place yourself as central as possible in the room, that way, no matter what direction you look, you will see what you are supposed to do.
I will definitively make this my regular studio.
P.S.
My wife took a different class here some month back with a different teacher. Same positive experience and the teacher threw in some english cues just for her, when she found out she only spoke english. Very kind.
