We stayed here for a week and it was excellent. Room was great with a lounge area and office area, very comfortable bed. It was quiet, staff all lovely, beautiful breakfasts. Great restaurants, coffee shops nearby and a gorgeous park across the road with squirrels!

Stayed here for a week because of the nice location and communal work area. Unfortunately the tap water is undrinkable, there is something wrong with it - so we instead had to pay for bottled water at the hotel bar (7.5 euro each). Lastly, our shower didn’t work and flooded the bathroom. Neither issue was fixed during our stay. Overall would not recommend.

A lovely hotel, in a quiet location. A little out of the city but accessible to the centre by buses or trams. Room very comfortable and well serviced. Staff helpful with any questions we had for them. Would recommend again.

(+) near to MANY public transport options, a cinema, several small supermarkets, and a great local cafe/boutique restaurant precinct.
(-) we most recently spent nearly five weeks at Victor's, checking out for two short weekend trips, and on each occasion when we checked back in, we were treated as total strangers .. "Have you had a nice arrival?".
In 2019, we stayed for 3 weeks.
Surely, it's worth investing in a CRM system, so returning guests are made to feel their patronage is genuinely valued.
Note: no in-room tea/coffee making facilities.

Our phone was not connected to reception, so I couldn't dial down. It was impossible to get room service for this reason, and there was no mini bar in the room. No bathrobe in the room.

No climate control in the rooms. It's the middle of March, but it was about 80° in the hotel room, and there was no way to turn off the heater. We were told to contact maintenance the next day, because the person at the desk had no control either, and no way to contact maintenance at night. We were offered a fan, but that wasn't going to do any good with the heat up so high.

€5/day charge for an in-room Nespresso machine, but at least they have a free, in-room shoe shiner for my... Nike trainers. After paying for the hotel online, I arrived and discovered taxes for the city are separate, so was charged again upon arrival for this and the coffee machine. When I checked out, they tried to charge me for those fees and the Nespresso again.

We did have access to a terrace with outdoor table and chairs and sun loungers, which was very nice for sunny days.

The best thing about this hotel was the people. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. The bar staff was especially pleasant and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good but not spectacular. Definitely a notch above the standard hotel breakfast. We ate dinner at the hotel the night we arrived and the food was great!
The rooms were clean and good sized. The hotel is located across from a beautiful park and a short walk from a tram station. You can be at Alexanderplatz in 10 minutes and from there you can get anywhere in Berlin or Germany .
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The furniture is a little dated but serviceable. The beds were comfortable.
The internet is fast and reliable. We were able to stream Netflix and zoom with no issues.
We will definitely stay here again when we return to Berlin.

This has become our hotel of choice in Berlin. The location, adjacent to Volkspark Friedrichshain, with a good bus service outside which connects to S- and U-bahn services at Alexanderplatz or will take you all the way to Zooligische Garten, is very good. Facilities are generally excellent for the price, the breakfast buffet is fantastic and the staff unfailingly welcoming and helpful.
