Our experience with the guest house was fine. It is a fairly simple but reasonably well cared for room. We stayed with 3 people and the room was just big enough for us. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were good too.

There is room to store important stuff and you have enough space to put your stuff in the bedroom.

You get a pass to enter your room and to enter the building in the evening. At the entrance you also have a gate, which closes after 6 o'clock. Here you have to fill in a code that you are told in advance.

The showers were reasonable but it was difficult to put your things somewhere. We recommend you to bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner because it was not present in the bathrooms. Furthermore, you have a hair dryer in the bathroom that you can use.

If you go to the toilet in the evening I would not use the hand drying machine because then the whole pension is awake.

It is quite noisy in the guesthouse so keep in mind that between 10 and 8 you are a bit quiet. The neighbors call the police quickly.

We have not spoken much to the staff. From what we have gathered, they were polite people. Communicating was unfortunately less because of the language barrier. Furthermore, we have experienced that the staff has been in our room to change our trash and that for us was not necessary.

The establishment is certainly situated in a beautiful and convenient location. The metro stops almost in front of the entrance and is only 2 stops away from Alexander Platz. If you want to walk you will need about 30 minutes.

There are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area to enjoy a beer in the evening or eat somewhere nice.

It is suitable for longer periods and for transit stays.

Nice little budget dorm like place to stay. The room was basic but we'll designed. The restrooms were communal and clean. Check in was simple and easy. Wifi was good enough for remote working.

So, this is probably just 1 star: bare minimum rooms and shared bathroom/toilets. But it is clean and well kept and for this I am more than happy to give 4 stars

Very nice and clean Hostel in the former Eastern part of Berlin. Arrangements were easy and clear and cleanliness was held to high standards. What keeps it from a five star rating for me is the comfort of the beds. This is a very thin mattress only on wooden planks. The beds were also too short for me (I'm 191cm) and the massive pillow didn't help with this (some people will love this, but for me it was way too large). Again, the clean and smooth sheets were great and the comfort didn't really keep me up at night, but it's close to my bottom line.

Its a basic hotel, the rooms are honestly good but very minimalistic/plain. The cleaners do a good job every day which makes the shared bathroom bearable. Overall price/quality for (semi) centrum Berlin hotel room is GOOD.

The service of the hotel is nice and helpful.
There isn't being served breakfast in the morning (there is no restaurant at all at the hotel). The rooms are clean and decorated with nice furniture, but they are very small and the quality of the beds (especially the mattresses) are almost not acceptable. Neither are the toilets, as there aren't toilets in the rooms, but only two in the hall on each floor - and there is no elevator for those who need it. But even so, the hotel is placed near a lot of nice restaurants, supermarkets, clothes stores and other shops, so, it is nicely located after all.
