We expected smth great for the prices but the delusion was quick. Ultra cheap chop sticks, long waiting time, a waitress that did not know the fish of the Sashimi, not really fresh wasabi, pretty hard pulpo, the rise of the Sushi to cold and waiting an hour even if the place was not busy. The only highlights are a nice ambience and there was a starter with tuna and avocado that was great. The quality of the fish was ok. Definitely too expensive for the quality.

This is 'the' authentic Japanese restaurant. I extremely enjoyed with a wide variety of appetizers (otsumami), delicious Sushi, and Sake. Everything was delicious and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend to Japanese people who miss Japanese food.

Extremely overpriced. Stuff does not speak english, not german either. Asked for a tap water three times, got a mineral water for 6 euro. Well, there is no difference to me to pay for water or give you a tip.
Ordered 111 euro Kaisen Nabe menu with sashimi for two, which is 16 euro sashimi.. looks like "cuts that left" from the sushi. Kaisen Nabe was poor too with one schrimp.
I would not recommend to go. And I am really sad that I went for my birthday there.

The price quality ratio is absurd. While the food was ok, the price is comparable to a restaurant in New York, not Berlin.
The service is dismal. It took them 15 minutes to find my reservation (the place has only 6 or 8 tables, it was half empty and yet they made an effort to be rude!) Then I asked for a beer, which took another 15 minutes in arrive.. (from the whole 6 meters to the kitchen!). The seats are very uncomfortable, portions are small and the bill was comparable to at least a 2 star restaurant, lol.
I give it a star for the Sake tub.

A beautiful, comfy u0026 warm place. Incredible food, and an incredible Japanese atmosphere. When you enter inside, the interior makes you forget the outside world and you can imagine Japan.

A proper restaurant. Berlin has lots of good food at good prices, but this is different and a step up both in price and quality. I wouldn't recommend this as a place to go to for a quick meal or with a bigger group, but can definitely recommend it as more of a special or intimate experience for a couple or small group, especially if you like proper Japanese food. A real gem of a place, just enter with a full wallet so you can make the most of it.

In my opinion, this is one of the few places that do Japanese cuisine in a right way.
I had SAKE OYAKO DON. The salmon and salmon roe were very fresh. It had some seaweed flakes underneath the sashimi pieces. The rice was seasoned well. I was satisfied a lot with the taste!
The service was also very good. The chef, waiter and waitress were all kind and polite.
It is pricy, but I am willing to pay, especially in this area where the really good Asian restaurants hardly exist.
I will definitely come again. It would be nice dinner out with my family, friend, or someone special.
