Very nice, hip looking hotel but for what we paid I would have expected a bit more. The room we booked had a bed that was pushed against the side wall so there was no second night stand. There was no headboard either so you can't sit up in bed and read and pillows fall off during the night. There were not enough outlets for 2 people and no outlets on one side of the bed. I think a nightstand, lamp and power outlets on both sides of the bed should be standard. Also, there was just one comfortable chair in the room and one office chair. It seems like it was a room for just one person, which probably would have been fine, not for two people though.
The breakfast was really good, filling, and healthy! I would recommend buying the breakfast. The server in the restaurant was super nice too.
Overall I felt it was not a good value and the people who designed the rooms do not have much experience and aren't aware of all the small touches that could make it much more comfortable.

Had a long term stay at the hotel. All hotel staff were friendly (above and beyond Berlin standards) helpful and responsive by text. Room was clean and kitchen was well stocked. The location is great and the decor is very cute. Would highly recommend!

My stay in The Dude was a smooth sailing from start to finish. Everything was impeccable, 10/10. Next time I’m in Berlin, I know where to look for superb hospitality and location.

Great Hotel with an uncommon approach. Single rooms are absolutely sufficient, a larger pillow (instead of 2 small ones) would be nice!

Fantastic location, clean rooms, very modern service and amenities.

Check In / Check out was more or less fully automated, and unlocking the doors via app was also a nice touch. Although it made me a bit nervous as to what I'd do if my phone ran out of batteries before I made it back to the hotel ????
