Stayed two nights in a private room with a shared bathroom. Hostel was very cute, clean and in a great location. There are many great restaurants and cafes nearby. If you arrive prior to check in they offer free lockers to store your stuff. There was a safe in our room for important belongings. The staff were also very polite.

Comfortable rooms and secure lockers. Felt very safe here. Continental breakfast was good. Brewery served delicious beer and had a lovely vibe. Very sociable and in a good location for restaurants and bars. Enjoyed our stay! Would recommend

I want to start off by saying that it was a very nice hostel. The location was great, the rooms where clean and had comfortable beds. Most of the staff were also really friendly although I have to give one star because of an incident that happened when we first arrived at the hostel.
Me and my friends are a group of four girls that had booked four beds in a room for eight people. When we first made our reservation for the four beds we used a credit card that was declined at the circus hostel website. We did not receive any booking confirmation so we inevitably assumed that it did not go through. Consequently we tried another time with another card, which turned out successful.
When we then arrived they said that we had double booked and had to pay a fee. It is totally understandable to pay a fee if you know you have booked a room and then cancel in last minute. However, we didn’t receive any information that the first reservation didn’t go through. Therefore it was impossible for us to know we had to cancel a reservation. Also, the hostel found other guests within a few hours to stay in the same room, which made it even more incomprehensible why they insisted on us paying the fee. Otherwise the stay was good.

The rooms themselves are nice and the people working there are very polite and helpful, but the hostel itself is way too expensive.

No kitchen, so you have to eat out everyday, the bar downstairs is extremely expensive and the tap beer tastes awful, the hostel is outside the main road so loud sirens and constant beeping throughout most of the night.

The breakfast is good and there's a large selection of food and the free sample of their own brewed beer is nice (the only decent beer there), but overall I wouldn't recommend unless you are loaded on money.

Lovely hostel, very chill vibe! We spent a lovely weekend there, we had one of the double private rooms with a kitchenette and it was so quiet and clean, lovely views too! Banging quality for money, great location, as tram and underground are literally across the road. Lots of places around to grab different foods, coffee, fresh bakeries and everything you need. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed in a 2 person private room, the beds were very nice and the room was very clean. There's free WiFi and a upon arrival you get a ticket for a free beer from their own micro brewery. We booked breakfast with our stay and I would recommend this, simple but nice breakfast and you don't need to get up early as it is served until 1 PM. We shared the bathroom and shower and they were very clean as well although the shower was a bit smelly (I guess old building issue). One day the toilet paper ran out and it took almost the whole day before it got refilled but other than that it was an amazing stay!

Hands down the best. Only praise to give. The receptionists were super nice, very welcoming. We got a double room with an extra bed and shared bathroom. However, they upgraded us to the triple room for free. We paid 208€ for three nights (shared bathroom). Those are phenomenal prices in Berlin. The bathrooms were clean and not crowded, the breakfast was plenty great and, room was spacious and constructions were sturdy. 10/10, definitely going to stay there next time we visit Berlin.
