The Japanese curry is really tasty and original! Recommend to have fried chicken and pork one! ????????They also offer Japanese tea and beer!

This is my favourite go-to place in Berlin so far when it comes to Japanese curry!

The restaurant itself seems inconspicuous from the outside but it's actually quite pretty and calm inside. The menu is small but still offers various combinations as well as vegan options!

I usually order the vegan curry with korokke (croquettes) and add cheese as an extra topping (if you're not vegan, THIS is my number 1 recommendation to any dish there, please try it!).
The portion is quite a lot and I always fight with finishing it - so quite filling.

They also offer a variety of traditional teas to try which really complement the curry.

Last but not least: It is suuper affordable (approx. 10€ per dish).

Whoever I introduce Takenori to immediately comes to like it as well. So you should give it a try, too!:)

One of the best Japanese curry experiences the flavors are good and rich. The Karaage is out of this world so please do yourself a favor and order anything that has Karaage. The price was adequate and the staff was kind and helpful with doubts for newcomers or undecided people.

They push their vegetarian options so heavily that you might be mistaken and think they don't have meat, and that would be too bad, because this is one of the few places in Berlin where one can get an authentic pork Katsu Curry.
Curry sauce was good. Thick and rich, there were two potatoes in it. No complaints.
The cut of the pork was good. No extra fat like they sometimes do in Japan; I prefer it without the fat, so I count that as a plus.
The breading was falling off the pork, which is a minus.
The red pickled vegetables were mostly cauliflower, which was an odd choice. Definitely not the strong flavor I was expecting.
The salad was lettuce and not shredded cabbage, and if there was dressing on it I couldn't tell. Kinda a miss.
Matcha milk tea was good.
Waitress did respond appropriately when I spoke Japanese to her, so add a point for that!
So, while it wasn't quite as good as places in Tokyo or LA, it was pretty good!

We ordered Kimchi as a starter and that was a good choice. As a main I took the Takenori Special B, which is the vegetarian curry. The mushroom croquettes were insane delicious and I would definitely order them again. The dish looked quite colourful as well and I liked the presentation. All items were delicious individually but tasted a bit odd all together. Also the egg could have been poached a tiny bit longer as the egg white was too soft for my personal taste. They had delicious Kirin beer and the people working here were very friendly. Might come back here in the future to try something else.

If you want to find real Japanese hand made curry, this is the place! We had the beef and vegetarian ones, it’s super tasty, but the portion is really big too, next time we will probably share one curry and have some stomach for the dessert after!

Tasty food, fulfilling portion, and great service. I tried both dining in and ordering and I am beyond satisfied with both. Highly recommend!
