I came on a Thursday at 15:00 as a walk-in without an appointment. I filled in a few small forms and got the help I needed without having to pay cash or anything sketchy. A kind GP who gets straight to the point and helps quickly.
FYI, I’m only on holiday for a week and don’t live in Berlin.

Extremely rude receptionists. I called to make an appointment for the same day, they told me to come at 9:30 or 15:00 so I said "okay see you at 9:30" and she said "see you then!".
I arrive at 9:31 exactly, was told that I have to check in, went to the reception to check in and she tells me it's too late, starts speaking German and rolls her eyes at me when I say I don't speak German, shrugs and just stares at me like I've committed a crime. Then the woman who told me to go check in comes around
and starts screaming at me for not having a mask (it's a simple mistake to forget when it is not required in most places now, they never mentioned it's required there, and they could have just asked me to go buy one or given me one). She says to leave the clinic and make an appointment from outside the window and not to come back wfor it without a mask. Continues screaming about not being late for the next appointment. Not sure what I did to make them both talk this way at the same time but I will not be returning.

The website is very misleading, they say they welcome international people etc. Would not recommend! Worst experience I've had at a doctor in Germany so far.

I rarely give 1 star review, but I have to today. I'm already a patient here for more than 3 years. I write her name as my "Hausarzt" wherever I go. On their website, it's written that walk in for acute illness is 8:30 to 9:30. I was really sick, so I went there 9:30, maybe a few minutes late but the receptionist refused me even though nobody was waiting!!

From that receptionist's broken English, what I understood was that we need to come at least 9:10 or so. So the information on the website is wrong. If so, they should write that they accept until 9:10!!!!!!!! Then I didn't have to waste my energy and time.

No empathy for the patient, even though you're not new there!!!!!

I already mentioned but the receptionist's English was very limited, it was so difficult to communicate. You need to speak some German here. If they advertise that "We speak English!", which is written on the wall of the building, also on their website, they should hire an English speaking receptionist. Or they should advertise like "we partially speak English". Dr speaks very good American English, but if you cannot get to the Dr, I mean, what's the point...

There are many Drs in Berlin who are very empathetic and have the attitude that they serve the patients. And even though they don't advertise about English speaking, some have very competent receptionist with very good English speaking skills. I will change my Hausarzt, I will never come back here.

dr kollmann is the best. don’t expect an american doctor’s practice, because this is not america (although she is an american doctor). but she truly cares about her patients u0026 is the most helpful doctor in berlin if you’re english speaking. i recommend her to all my english speaking immigrant friends u0026 i would recommend her to you as well. i would be lost in the german medical system without her. and her receptionist is so lovely u0026 kind and helpful, even with my horrible german. wish i could give them 6 stars.

My doctor since I moved here. My German is not good but no problem since receptionist can speak basic english. doctor can speak English. They accommodate and start soon as the doctor arrives. I arrived 20 minutes earlier then the doctor accommodated me already.

On time / very quick / straight forward
Clean clinic
Friendly and professional

Tip: write down your symptoms ahead as to the details of experiencing (when, how long, what). It helps especially when it is your first time to speak to the doctor in a different country.

Amazing doctor takes time to do proper diagnosis. Talks with experience. Excellent English communication skills. You can rely on her. Would recommend and will go to her for anything.

Receptionist is rude and passive aggressive. Also, both times I visited (once in 2018, once in 2020), the practice demanded cash payment on the spot. They claim that their billing system is out of order, but they really seem to be exploiting privately-insured patients to collect more money in the end.

Overall, it is not worth going out of your way to visit here. If you're searching for an English-speaking doctor in Berlin, there are better options.
