Actually I couldn't get in there, tickets needed to be purchased 5 days before. So I walked 1 km to find out a public place to chill out and swim. It was really good ???? The tram was crowded, so keep in mind you'll need to wait and take longer than expected.

The best Strandband in Berlin for a while. First of all only card payments everywhere (visa/mc/ec), great and clean kitchen with tasteful burgers, awesome and pleasant service everywhere. Everything for kids for free. Sandy beach and true green grass. Sup-board renting with different boards. Cool website with online booking of all beach accessories. Really good. Thanks folks!

worst. place. ever.

don't waste your time and money.
we arrived on August 14 around noon and decided to go in to find a good spot while our friend parked the car. We paid the cover charge (€30 for 4 people!) and looked for a shady place to settle. Then we got a call from our friend who was denied entrance because she wasn't from the right zip code!
They claimed that if we had come in at the same time it would have been okay, but since she arrived a few minutes later she wasn't part of our group.
They also refused to give us a refund, since we already went in.

None of this was posted on their website, especially not the arbitrary and discriminating zip code policy. The woman at the gate was extremely unpleasant and rude.

bottom line: we wasted €80 including car rental and 2 hours of our time for an excessively unpleasant experience.

Something is wrong with this place. Since some people reviewed in crowded days they won’t allow non-members, we decided to request for membership. However my wife’s and mine both got rejected and refunded without any explanation. They simply said we cannot provide you membership.
It doesn’t look like a reliable place.

Yesterday we arrived at the beach, have driven from Berlin for 1 hour, the temperature was 38 degrees. At the reception they didn’t let us in, they said that we need to have a special card, this was not said on the website. I’m disappointed and cannot recommend this place.

Staff so rude. Would not let in one our friends because she was from Neu Köln! Then would not refund the entry fee for those of us who had already paid when we had to all leave! They said they were suddenly too full bit there was a whole huge empty section.

They didn’t let us in because we live in the city, they only let people who live in the area in on weekends. They is no information about this on the homepage, however you can rent umbrellas, chairs etc on the homepage, they let you pay and everything and still NO information about anything. Super disappointed, won’t be coming back here.
