Incredibly popular restaurant with locals and tourists alike. I'd give this five stars for food, three stars for service. Maybe they were a person down on the night but the waits between courses were just too long. But the food.. fantastic. Amazing Schnitzel and potato salad! Also reminded me to take dessert whenever I can in Germany. Great atmosphere! Don't forget to bring cash with you though, no paying with cards here.

Great traditional South German bar / restaurant. I went for beer and cheese and ham flamkuchen after a long walk. Great space to rest.

Do bring cash, they don’t accept cards but also have an atm around the corner.

The bartender just laughed at me when I asked for the menu! In the end it became clear why - the beer was insanely expensive. Definitely worst bar experience I can recall, not recommended.

Just came back Berlin from Black Forest. Still go this restaurant to eat. The fried pork is so delicious and perfectly fried. The potato salad is so amazing with the perfect sauce. Sour and clean. The pizza is so thin and crispy. It’s also a beautiful taste with the meat and pumpkin. Yes , the pumpkin is so well balanced with whole pizza. Perfectly meal.

Cosy corner restaurant, self seating (there was no sign), traditional  menu, with an extensive list of wines and spirits. They offer a really good Schnitzel. The service was polite; however there were only 2 servers and the restaurant is a pretty good size. If your limited for time well.... if not, you'll enjoy a good meal. Fyi, the restaurant does not have wifi and was cash only, while I was there.

Food is great! We ordered Schnitzel and Sausages. Schnitzel was unexpectedly really good! The sausages also taste good although they are quite small in size. But nonetheless, we enjoyed the food!

Tables were full when we arrived so the staff suggested that we sit in the bar first and they will move us to a table when someone leaves.

For the food to arrived though, we had to wait, I think about 30mins. So if this doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice place to have dinner.

TAKE NOTE: they only accept CASH.

What a cute little place with an old romantic feel. I almost feel like I'm in for British tea. I wanted to like this place, but the food just wasn't quite there.

First, and this may be German culture, it took a while to get a menu that I just went up and picked one up myself. I ordered the vegetarian gebratene maultaschen (ravioli) with salad. The salad was actually pretty nice and fresh - it came with a creamy mustard dressing. Unfortunately, the ravioli left something to be desired, as beautiful as it looks. For the price (with beer, it came out to about 19 euros), I expected a little more.
