Absolutely outstanding dining experience. FREA is cozy but sophisticated. We each had a 4 course meal, allowing us to try all 8 items on the Spring menu and we enjoyed everything. Service was very good and friendly. It is expensive but you get what you pay for and we left very satisfied. All this in a vegan and sustainable package and it will surely be a highlight of our vacation!

I think for a vegan restaurant it was excellent. However, it cannot keep up with a veg / normal restaurant in my opinion … the taste is not just as good. The cornbread was not my taste, also I had better wines
4 stars since the atmosphere was amazing outside and the service was super friendly

10/10! From the first step inside you feel this place is special. Dishes were a blast one after the other. Autumn menu is all amazing! A must is the coffee with the nut milk. We loved every minute of it. Lovely people, beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, and one of the best vegan kitchens we’ve ever had the chance to experience.

Joyous evening! Food looked great and tasted even better. It was great to be able to choose any items off the menu and organise them into whatever courses we wanted. We had six items over three courses.

Favorite restaurant in Berlin.
Food is absolutely delicious, the people are always the nicest, the place is beautiful and has a good atmosphere, and the fact that it is vegan and zero-waste is just an absolute dream.
Thanks a lot FREA team, you’re rocking it!

Fancy fully vegan dishes served with a casual vibe.

You can take a 3, 4 or 5 course menu and mix u0026 match as many starters, mains and desserts as you like. Every course is another small adventure on your plate.

Next to a matching wines selection they offer a set of accompanying non alcoholic drinks. Interesting juices like cranberry with jalapeño, fermented carrot, and a ginger lemongrass drink that taste like a kombucha. Highly recommended.

Very friendly people serving as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

Make sure to book well in advance. Outside seating is amazing on summer evenings as well. And it's covered, so no worries in case it rains a bit.

Only give it three stars as I would not actively seek to come back. The food had too much spices and did not meet my taste.

However, sitting area outside was nice and the waiters really friendly
