The Barbacoa Beef burrito would be perfection if they seasoned the rice. Unfortunately, the rice was flavorless, which was sad because the beef, tortilla, and salsas were amazing. So close!!!

Side note: I was hoping to have have a hand-held burrito experience but was happy to settle for the knife and fork version.

Food was ok but not excellent. They have few vegan options. I really like the interior it creates unique vibe of this restaurant. When we enter the restaurant there is a sign saying to wear the mask however no one of stuff members wore one.

Ordered the fried chicken and tostadas for starters and they were delicious (pictured). However we also ordered several of entrées and it took more than an hour for the staff to remember that they forgot our order, but we got tired of waiting, so we just left. Long story short, the service here is disappointing, and the food is good but not good enough to wait more than 30mins for.

We feel scammed and hungry. Don't order from Santa Maria!

We ordered Guacamole, and a large portion of Carne Asada Tacos. It took overall 90 minutes to deliver, the food arrived cold. The Guacamole portion was so tiny we ended up eating the nachos with nothing on it. There were barely enough ingredients to make 5 VERY LIGHT tacos out of 10 (see picture): 1 tiny slice of lime, a pinch of onions, one small sauce portion and very little meat.

So no we have 5 useless tortillas, we feel scammed and hungry. Almost 50 euros for jus this.

From a Mexican's perspective, this is probably the closest to authentic Mexican cuisine you will get in Berlin. The food is great and they have 5€ margaritas. I personally recommend the chilaquiles with some jamaica water. If you're a lover of Mexican food and are in Berlin, this is the place you want to see. Try getting there at an early time, usually it gets extremely crowded around dinner time and due to its small space the waiting times can be very long. A group of us waited for almost an hour while we had some margaritas outside so that made up for it.

I had tacos with beef that was pretty good. I Did miss some savoury flavour. Really amazing nachos and their guacamole was heaven! They did mess up our orders with mixing vegetarian with chicken but the sweet waitress fixed it right away. :)

I paid 32€ to get a little bit of Guacamole, a tin foil of old and dry taco breads and another tin foil of some old and very nasty pork meat.

This restaurant seems to be an absolute scam.

I tried to get in touch with them which doesn’t seem to be possible. They don’t provide a phone number neither an email address. I wrote them on Instagram but they haven’t replied yet (obviously).

I will make sure everyone I know will never go there and tell everyone that they know to not go there.
