The food was very tasty and service patient with our limited German. We ordered a saucy vegetable dish with safron rice and a plate or grilled meet, one lamb and one chicken skewer that came beautifully presented with a fresh and delicious salad, yogurt and rice. We sat next to the window and watched the world go by while waiting. Lounge music, gentle piano, is played in the background, no one talks loudly, there's no rush to finish your food.

Food was quite average at best. We ordered lot of varieties but most of it was not up to the expectations.

Persian restaurant in Kreuzberg!
Rice and meet are the main ingredients of most of the dishes. Place was good. Quiet space, there is space in between tables and the service is nice and fast.

It was really special taste for me. I recommend to eat something combines more kind of dish (I paid 15€ for one contains 4 different things). The food arrived quickly, the portion was quite big. One negative thing I can mention is that the beer was not cold.

This is a hidden gem!

I ordered the lamb skewer and I was not disappointed! The meat, rice and potatoes were cooked to perfection. A side salad added to the plate completed the meal. It reminded me of a home cooked meal, large portions, care taken and made with love.

I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

If you want to eat or experience Persian food in Berlin - this is the place to go to! Cosy and charming location with friendly staff. The food was divine. We were five people and ordered nearly half of the dishes they offer. The size of the dishes was very good as well as the prices. I can only highly recommend Safran - but go as a group, so you can order more food and have a taste of the delicious spices of the orient.
