A good restaurant offers guests fresh quality and good service every day. I loved Rissani three years ago. I was extremely disappointed yesterday. Anyone who knows the place knows that it is authentic and honest. It has the charm of a beauty that doesn't need make-up. But yesterday was Sunday, it was 12 o'clock and we ordered two Rissani plates. The stressed employee was extremely annoyed, but there were hardly any guests in the restaurant. I had to spit out the carrots on the plate. The hummus was unbearable. Did you give out Saturday's food again? I was there with my kids. Everyone and I got diarrhea and stomach pains during the night and this morning. I spent all day on the toilet. If I hadn't felt so sorry for the employee on site, I would have liked to throw the plate at his feet. That was a real mess. No wonder the guests go to the neighboring restaurant. I hope the owner reads this and remembers his good times. That must not be!

Since 15 years I have known this place and it consistently offers stable quality of low cost Mediterranean style cuisine. It is simple and the dishes selection is very simple. However whenever I come I leave full and satisfied. Solid value for your buck and sort of true Kreuzberg legend.

Maybe my expectations were too high but it is really not different than other shawarma and the humus was not as tasty as many other place in Berlin

Extraordinary tasty falafel. Excellent white sauce. Great service. The best shawarma. You will be welcomed by a warm smile and the greatest quality for the price.

Excellent dishes and plates with a great variety of flavours. The shared dish was inexpensive and we couldn't finish it. The sauces and the falafel were extraordinary. It's typically crowded at any time of the day, so it must be really good. Their opening times are basically from 11 am until well past midnight. You'll surely enjoy it!

Some of the best falafel and shawarma plates I've ever had, I come to Rissani every time I'm in Berlin it's a sort of a tradition and never left disappointed once.

Try the Rissani Teller for 9€. More than enough food to feed two people, has a bit of everything. The food is cheap and tastes great, however the place could do a lot better in terms of keeping the restaurant clean and tidy.
