Been to many Turkish restaurants in Berlin and this is definitely my favourite..Staff are very good, speaking English perfectly and happy to be of service. Food is equally good. Recommended! ????

Updated review ; now only one star as during our last visit we decided never to return. A shame as we liked coming here a lot. We took friends and family during the last years but our last visit with friends was an embarrassment. We felt bad for taking them here as the service was appalling. Even though the food is good, it cannot make up for the weird service standards that this restaurant keeps. Upon entering the restaurant (we made a reservation) we were looked at by one of the staff as if we entered their private living room, no greeting or words spoken. We told the employee that we made a reservation, upon which the employee simply pointed at a table without speaking. The table had a reserved sign on it with a name of someone completely different, when we pointed this out, the employee simply removed the sign and pointed at the table again. We subsequently asked for a table not directly next to the door after which the employee pointed at another table, still no words spoken. What a welcome!

After ordering our food, the table was made with 4 sets of cutlery. A few minutes later we received two plates. We had to ask for two more ourselves.

When the drinks arrived the waiter poured a large amount of wine next to the glass accidentally, not a problem it can happen, were it not that at no point did he apologise.

When the food arrived, the starter plate arrived together with one of the main dishes. We were not asked whether we'd want the starter at the same time. Again not such a problem, were it not that the other main dish did not show up. We went to ask where the other dish was, after which we were promised that the dish would be served within 3-4 minutes (it had been forgotten). The second dish eventually arrived 20 minutes later while the other main dish had already been finished. Still no apology.

We ended up leaving the restaurant not paying for the second dish, on our request. While the staff pointed out that they wished for us not to return to the restaurant. What a great show of customer care /service. Unfortunately never again.

We have been here three times now, every time was a success! The restaurant is relatively pricey for Berlin standards but therefore the portions are very generous and the service is attentive. A few times an ordered drink was forgotten and the waiter had to be reminded, but this was not a problem. We will be back here many times after!
