Amazing food and Service. We went with a fully paired wine meal and it did not disappoint. Amazing quality food and very innovative on so many of the dishes. Expensive per person but so worth it if you want an amazing culinary adventure through 5-7 courses.

We had a fantastic night with some old friends and were impressed by how unique and thoughtful the menu was. Not to mention the quality of the cuisine! We expected the standard run-of-the-mill dry white wine pairing, but loved the owner’s expert recommendation. That together with some of the most attentive and knowledgable service we’ve had recently made this a really special experience.

We paid around €240 for a 5 course fixed menu with wine pairing for 2 people. The €60 something 5 course menu was good value for money. The overall value we paid was primarily due to the wine pairing. The sommelier was good, but tended to babble pretentiousness a little.
3 our of 5 courses were executed well: I personally didn’t understand the cauliflower dish and dessert wasn’t awesome.
But the rest was. They have to iterate a little to perfect some of the courses and maybe just be a little less pretentious for the Berlin market. Overall good and within a few months probably worth the money.

Excellent food and very nice atmosphere! Diner is original, not a menu you would find everywhere in Berlin, and each dish has surprising flavors. Highly recommend Slate!

Fine dining supreme. Amazing hosts, huge wine collection paired with a funny and super knowledgeable sommelier, very talented and creative chef. A must for foodies visiting Berlin. Expect a Michelin star in the near future.

Made a reservation, went all the way up to hear "It's a party tonight so you have to pay 220 € per person". Would have been nicer to let people know it's compulsory so their time wouldn't be wasted.
