It's a traditional German restaurant. It reminds me of the eighties. They have some outside seating which is a bit tired looking but ok for a quick drink and a snack. Inside is white tablecloths and reminiscent of the eighties including the food. There are no highs or lows. Reasonably priced and friendly service.

Nice small restaurant! Ask for English menu if you need them. Felt like unpretentious home cook food! Reasonably priced too!

8 varieties of Schnitzel. Fresh and tasty. Service left a bad taste, one lady was rudely annoyed that we needed longer to decide from the menu in English and about card payment.

I'd like to consider myself an honest customer that has two objectives. First is that I like to explore and try new places. Second I really like to leave a review as it helps those who use Google Maps to see (what I believe is) a real picture into a given business's service and product.

I came to Reichardt's with a group of 8 on a SATURDAY NIGHT. The majority of the group arrived at 8:30pm with myself and another arriving at 9pm. When my friend and I arrived there was only one other table occupied. In addition to the single table, the owner had turned off all the lights in the restaurant, for what I can only assume was a cost saving measure. As we sat down, we were told that we needed to order immediately as the kitchen was closing. Now I need to point out that the closing time was 10pm, which in every other European country would mean that you could order til 10pm. Here though, on a Saturday Night, the lady wanted to be any place other than her restaurant. My friends ordered but I wasn't ready so I decided not to eat.

At the conclusion of the meal, the guys wanted a coffee, the time was 9:30pm. The owner stated that the machine was turned off and it was not possible to get coffee. Further, she did not bring out the dessert menu.

I could continue and give you other bits of the evening but honestly, this was just bad, bad and more bad. Honestly the lady/owner doesn't want to provide a service to her customers. For this reason, she should consider closing the business or selling it to a motivated owner who wants to observe the general rules of running a restaurant.

Finally I would leave them a 1.5 star review if that were possible but 2 stars is .5 too much. (1 star for the food which was good and .5 stars for the ambiance, notably the terrace).

We walked in with no reservation, they got us a table and took our order quickly and poured our drinks. It was close to closing time but we didn't feel rushed at all, our food was really tasty and huge portions too!
Great little place and great hospitality, thank you for our lovely meal.

We ate here on a thursday and the food, beer and service were great. My schnitzel was excellent. The place looked a bit tatty outside and the reveiws almost put us off but the waitress was very efficient and the food was great.
