What a lovely evening we had! The restaurant has a beautiful modern yet relaxing interior, totally couldn’t tell when you pass by from the outside. We had the menu plus cheese plate with the wine paring, and we are glad about the choice. Chose this restaurant because of the newly Michelin star listing, and it definitely deserves the star. The flavor was overall balanced, and with some playful twists. At the amuse bouche, the freshness of cucumber with its marination made an interesting start. Then it went on with vegetables, fish and beef. And what a nice wagyu, the meat was literally melting at your tongue, and the fat was balanced with the acid from the ponzu and kimchi (although here I would say from my personal taste the kimchi could have been fermented a bit longer to lose its grassy/planty raw taste). Final dessert was not too sweet or heavy and a nice close to the main dinner. Funny that it seems Germans serve cheese plate after the dessert, but we enjoyed the choice of the cheese. Beside the food, the wine paring was phenomenal, the sommelier was nice to explain the details about the wines from their production, tasting palate and matching of the food. Most of the wines were German and we were surprised about their tastes.
In summary we were satisfied with the wonderful dinner. One small suggestion, during the online booking, there was an area you could put “your reason” of the dinner reservation, and I put “birthday dinner”. Not sure if the restaurant had seen this information, and if there were a small gesture, even like a greeting of “happy birthday” would make us feel even more special.

very nice menue, felt very thought out, nice wine pairings (riesling and gewürztraminer were one of a kind), vegetarian menue and non-alcoholic parings from the get go, very nice atmosphere, very nice staff, would visit again!

My party and I chose the non-vegetarian menu and were delighted with the tastes and textures. If you would like a Michelin-star-esque experience minus the hefty check, Bricole doesn’t disappoint.

Well, giving five stars or one star is kinda easy, everything in between is complicated and needs reasoning. Of course the rating is tuned to the expectations, which are for sure high for a Michelin star restaurant. While overall having great kitchen and service I personally was missing a non-alcoholic pairing and sometimes attention for tiny details (f.i. one of the dishes was featuring beetroot and the beetroot itself wasn't a nice sweet one, but an earthy-tasting one, which could be the idea, but is quite hard to believe).

Great food, wine and searing. Kind and polite staff. Cuisine is a combination of regional and global classics - never overcomplicated, but always made with passion, skill and diligence. Winelist focussed on great Riesling bottles at reasonable prices. Good place to try some of the best Rieslings of Germany or you can bring your favorite wine and pay 20 bucks to drink it here instead. Offers seating outside and inside. Menu 4-6 dishes ranging from 49 to 69 EUR. Expect free bottled water and bread with your menu. Great value for money. Bricole also offers a pure veggie menu - guests might chose or combine courses from both menus. Located near PrenzlauerXDanziger Tram station (M2/M10).

Always one of my favorites! Been here for ages before they got their first star, and seeing growth every time. Keep up the good work!

Great price/ quality combination. The food is on a very suphisticated label. Some dishes need a bit more gentle touch ( like a dessert for example) .
Serving white sugar for a coffee nowadays is not an option in such a cuisine like Bricole. Again for 36 euro 4 course Menü is very rare to find. Would recommend everyone.
