Clearly geared towards tourists who may not be aware that waiters are paid real salaries in Berlin. Tips are very much optional. Feel free to round up check if service was to your liking. 10% tip is the norm IF pleased.

Very nice german style restaurant with affordable prices and huge portions. Staff was very kind.

We first visited the restaurant last year (2017) and found it to be average, but this year we returned as our Grandson wanted to try German food again.

Well from the start it was really a pleasant surprise, much better than last year, to the extent that we returned 3 more times.

The food was of a high standard and good portions, the staff were very friendly (even with my poor German), the atmosphere was great and other guests very friendly and chatty (again even with our poor German).

Our grandson asked for "Curry wurst u0026 Pommes" even though they were not on the menu but they had no problem in accommodating his request.

Overall this as very positive visits to the Xantener Eck and if we are in Berlin again we will be visiting them.

Wonderful food and very considerate staff (especially considering neither my parents or I are very proficient at speaking German). The Maultaschen (mouth pockets?) is especially fantastic.

Really nice and cozy place. Service and food is always great! Might look like a tourist trap from the outside, because of the menues in many different languages, but many locals frequent this nice restaurant. Can only recomend a visit????????
