Good food - but at what cost? Awful service, even for Berlin (nasty to children, forgetting whole meals for members of the party). What's more, the prices have gone up of late (18-20 EUR for one dish). This used to be one of our favorite neighborhood places, but there's only so much abuse that this patron can take. If you're looking for, particularly a family-friendly, place in the neighborhood, look elsewhere.

Excellent and friendly service - and the food was delicious. If you want a relaxed and cosy atmosphere (we went around 8 pm), this is the place to go to. We will definitely come back!

The borshch here is amazing and so are the pel'meni. But service is slow--often taking about one hour. All of that would warrant at least four stars if it weren't that, sometimes, the waiters are just rude (not all of them, but a few particular ones). Being rudely told that I can't order because "can't I see that other people are waiting?" when I said that I am ready to order when the waitress has time is just unnecessary. I understand they are busy but some politeness with customers can go a really long way! Really too bad because the food is great and some of the waiters are so nice. The staff could do with some training on kindness.

Update: I have to edit my review from a to start to a one star, alas I will not be going here anymore. The waiters were extremely rude to my child. This is completely unacceptable customer service.

Been coming here for years. The waiter are always nice. The menu is not very big but the dishes are really great. Especially the Plov. Definitely recommend!
