This cantina / cafeteria posts its weekly changing menu where you pick up your tray. They have a selection of 2 salad bars with veggie options. You can get beer or wine too. It's only open for breakfast and lunch. Stop by on Fridays and Saturdays (maybe other days as well) and visit the market. The total cost for my husband and I for lunch was 16 euros. Nothing fancy, but certainly tasty, typical German food.

every Berlin visitor need to come here at least one time during week days between Monday and Friday at 1pm for lunch. this place is fantastic. time travel made easy and fun too. affordable and very German. I love it!

Tolle Atmosphäre, sehr gediegene Einrichtung, alle Tische sind sauber und eingedeckt mit weißen Tischdecken, dazu gibt es weihnachtliche Dekoration. So eine schöne Kantine habe ich noch nicht vorher gesehen. Das Essen ist „typisch Kantine“, wobei ich das nicht abwertend meine. Das Kassler mit Sauerkraut und Kartoffelpüree für 5,80€ war sein Geld wert, kein Highlight- aber solide!
NACHTRAG: auch die Kaffeebar ist gut! Milchkaffee für 1,80€ ist fair und das Personal super freundlich.
