The volunteer was extremely friendly and explained the functioning of the devices and the observed celestial objects (star clusters, double stars, ring nebulae, etc.) in a very competent and understandable way. Even when there were very few visitors around 12:30 a.m., the physicist never tired of showing new objects. A great experience for us and our ten-year-old son, which we would very much like to repeat.

Wir nahmen als Gäste einer Aufführung der Shakespeare Company an ihrem neuen Spielort danach an einer kostenlosen Führung zur Sternwarte teil und waren begeistert. Die ehrenamtliche Mitarbeiterin war überaus freundlich und hat die Funktionsweise der Geräte sowie die beobachteten Himmelsobjekte (Sternhaufen, Doppelstern, Ringnebel etc.) überaus kompetent und verständlich erklärt. Selbst als gegen 0.30 Uhr nur noch ganz wenige Besucher da waren, wurde die Physikerin nicht müde, noch neue Objekte zu zeigen. Für uns und unseren zehnjährigen Sohn ein großartiges Erlebnis, das wir sehr gern wiederholen möchten.
