very rude woman behind the bar, no masks/checking vaccination certificates (even though its mandatory)
did not serve anyone even though they were not closing for another hour. would never recommend this bar, especially not if you’re a tourist

A cozy little place with a lot of heart! Definitely worth visiting for a drink or two. The owner who runs the bar is a great story teller so you will feel very welcome here! This is one of those genuine places that you don't get too see that often.

This review is likely skewed for a foreigners' experience, as I imagine it's much different for a local.

When I walked in with my husband, the entire bar (about 15 people) clapped and laughed at us for a good 30 seconds and shouted some things in German. It was surreal as hell, and I couldn't tell if it was good natured or we were the butt of a joke. The rest of the time almost everyone was singing along with blasting German music while smoking and doing shots of liquor, and the bartender repeatedly gave us weird looks while we drank our beer. Maybe this was a one off, but I'd never go back as I felt like an outsider big time.

A rare place to have an Engelhardt beer at. Great music, the barman is very nice and you can smoke in, if you wish. Typical, small and cozy:)

Great place to come with international friends and speak English, diverse crowd, well made drinks, free Wifi with space on the big table for laptops and very friendly (and English speaking) bar staff. Discounts for students. Will be back for sure.
