Most boring spaghetti bolognese I've had in Berlin... may be even pushing on ever lol.
There's so many good reviews - makes me think they're paid for or I caught chef on the wrong day?
The meat was good quality, but everything else about the dish was incredibly boring - even the extra parmesan I ordered to go with it had and added zero-to-nothing flavour.
The pasta was really soft and overcooked - had a paste feel to it in your mouth like a 5 year old had been messing around in the kitchen.
I'm not a particularly fussy eater - I eat everything, and can take pleasure in spaghetti bolognese almost every time as it's my favourite dish. So when someone gets it so wrong, they must have really messed up lol.
I got a large salad with mixed roast vegetables - blurgh again. Was supposed to come with bread, but didn't. Boring as possible, no dressing (despite it saying it should have dressing). I could have just popped to Rewe for this (see photo).
Additionally, this was the "larger" portion that you pay more for, which honestly, was just a normal portion you'd expect in any other restaurant.
All this said, eating in a restaurant VS takeaway can bring up mixed results sometimes, so at the very least, never get a takeaway from here - or least not on a Friday when I ordered, the chef isn't up to much. May be try it out in the restaurant (just make sure you eye up customers food already in there before you order :P)
