Very good and calm place. Specially in summer the view is lovely and have all shady areas as well as sunny areas too near the spree where one can sir, do picnic or do small events as well. Also good to do BBQ's as well and family events.

It's a nice family place with good clean environment and peaceful weather with the lake next to the park. You can sit for a whole day in this park. There is a Cafe too for food or you can enjoy your home made meal to the side of Lake.

Very pretty and quiet park with interesting bird life (e.g., we spotted a heron) and a pleasantly spooky feel. On one side of the lake the path is a simple, unfussy dirt path through bushes that allows glimpses of ducks feeding in the shady zones along the edge and a nice view of the Wasserturm peeking above the trees across the lake. The other side has a more manicured path and the Wasserturm itself, which is pretty neat. Compare with the water tower in Prenzlauer Berg. We've already been twice and want to check out the Bar am Wasserturm and sit on its patio overlooking the lake. A City Toilet is located near one entrance to the park. Hop across the road to check out the Orankesee, which is livelier with a Strandbad and a busy Biergarten. Accessible via tram (walk a few blocks) or find street parking.

Hidden gem. Since discovering Obersee and Orankesee I completely stoped going for walks on Weißensee. It much calmer here, less people and transport noises. Beautiful lake and surrounding neighborhood.

Uyumi, the heron, watches for us in the long summer days, while one sculpture is deprived of liberty. That's Obersee Park, plus runners, dog walkers and, on weekends, sun spot hunters.

Nice place ta walk and to enjoy the nature, the statues and all around.
