August 2022 • incredible museum! Loved the artifacts from Troy and all of the Egyptian history here as well. They have the bust of Nefertiti on display which was awesome to see. Timed tickets are required for this museum, so plan ahead and buy online!

One of the best museums in the world. The collections are amazing but wat really gets me is the magnificent building.
At the same time you are in old buildings with bully holes from the war, combined with majestic new modern design of the new parts!!

Avoid the cafeteria run by a nasty old bat!

Get tickets in advance because you get a time slot for entry!

One of my favourite museum on a Museum Island. There are very beautiful and various exhibits. There are collections of Egyptian art and antique collections. There you can find a statue of Nefertiti, sarcophagus, statues, ancient wall drawings and many other things. Museum is quite big, so plan a bit of time for it. It is very difficult to manage all museums from museum island in one day.

Reserve your tickets online and also the time slots before going. You can take your masks off there and leave your bag outside in the locker.
No water allowed inside and there is wc in the museum.
Very nice and highly recommended

I bought the tickets online, I waited in a queue for about 20-30 minutes. I left my things in a locker. It took me about 4 hours to see the whole museum. At some point I even lost my way. There are restrooms at ground floor. The museum is beautiful and worthwhile!

Good exhibition, but not the most impressive collection on Ancient Egypt. The museum itself is beautiful. Nefertiti was the highlight of the whole visit, unfortunately you cannot take pictures of her.

Beautiful museum! The architecture is as impressive as the collections. And the collections are amazing. The audio tour is kind of confusing but it's still helpful.
