I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Musty and eating one of his burgers just a couple of weeks ago. I am big on burgers, I like to criticize, and I am not easy to please - Musty's Burger was spot on, at an extremely fair price.
Musty is running his shop as a one-man operation, which enables him to directly ensure the quality of the food he serves. The meat he uses for the juicy patties in his burgers is supplied by his brother, who's a butcher. The buns soak up any excess liquids and did not fall apart, even at the end of my meal. The meat-to-toppings-to-cheese-to-buns ratio was spot on and no one ingredient overpowered another. The curly fries I had with this burger were crispy, tasty and not too greasy.
On top of all this, Musty is an absolutely pleasant guy who takes pride in his craft and is happy to have a chat with his customers. This was by far the best burger I had in Berlin and easily one of the best burgers I ever had, especially considering the extremely reasonable price point.
