Pretty location on water however terrible unfriendly service, no toilets, stuff which doesn’t really care if customers are waiting in a long queue and chatting with some friends instead of literally asking someone nicely to order. Go to Zola in Kreuzberg

If you want a established Kreuzberg punk and metal bar, go here. Good atmosphere, honest people, indie to punk music, not too crowded, decent price - a well established punk rock bar

Traditional dive bar. Cheap beer and usually nice people. Sometimes full of Core Tex tourists from around the corner. Nice staff. Very low key, good place to chill.

Hard core dive bar. 1980's squatter-scene leftovers. Open late, very late. Cold (and good) draft beer, not much else, strange but friendly servers. Oh yeah, odd music predicated on the hormonal (im)balance of the wait staff. Safe for Americans.
