The shop is clean and tidy. Proud and perfunctory service. Well known Berlin neighborhood.

They accept credit cards.

I had the lime blueberry cheesecake, with quark, and an Americano.

Excellent cheesecake. I'm very ignorant about cheesecake, and actually don't really even like them. However, judge me as an unknowing American. If you are too, then reset your brain. German quark is different than American cheesecake. Way less rich, less sugary, but plenty of flavor and as indulgent.

It really doesn't taste very good at all.

And there's a ridiculously long wait time to order at the counter (despite the queue being short) as there appears to be only 1 staff person who does takeaway orders, makes coffee, brings food to the tables and takes away the dirty dishes. Plus there are no labels on the cakes so ordering is a very annoying process.
If I hadn't had such an uncomfortable time waiting I'd have given 2 stars, as while the cake didn't taste good it was at least big pieces, but alas I just regret wasting my time all around.

I like the idea, the place looks nice and they have an impressive amount of choices, but after all, especially given that they specify on it, the cheesecake at the core of it just isn't that great. Tasty, but not special at all. I had plenty of better ones.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS SHOP!!!
first we wanted to have a photodruck cake to have something special. we paid for photodruck. why do you have an option on your website of photo druck. this is cheating people . you guys are SCAM business and this is a FRAUD. in the website you upload three pictures. i uploaded three pictures but i sent an email that i want one big picture. then they sent a reply they dont have a photodruck and changed the order without letting me know. if i didnt send an email to them I wasnt even aware of this situation. they didnt send a mail or even call me. This is a special birthday cake we pay 50-60 euros for the smallest one and they decide on their owns. i called them i dont want a cake without a photodruck . all we want was photodruck to make it special. they told chef is not here cake was already sent. I chose wunschtermin on thursday. they sent it on wednesday. then why did i choose the date on your website ?. why there is an option to choose a date on the website ?? i am telling you all the things written on the website is pure scam. DO NOT BELIEVE TO THEIR WEBSITE, KOMPLETT FALSCH!!! they sent the cake with DHL . i thought by paying 50-60 euros for a small cake they’d do it professionally, if I knew its posted by dhl why should i order i d pick it up by myself, OMG!!!. I work homeoffice but you knkw dhl they didnt deliver or ring the bell they chose the easist option to leave it at concierge . they left the cake upsidedown in concierge and I did not get any dhl mails or any mails from the bakeshop. dhl ofcourse didnt know they are carrying cake. its just ridicilious to send something fresh baked , melting with dhl. did you guys lose your mind , is this how you do business , is this how you take care of your customers ???. its just a mess, totall chaos !!. i called them on thursday to ask where is the cake ? they told me they dont know and gave the trackingnummer. i was shocked to find my cake upsidedown lying at concierge delivered yesterday with Dhl when i tracked the number.
what can i say , we expected a special cake for special day but this business its totally frustrating , NEVER TRUST THEM NEVER ORDER THEIR ONLINE CAKES !!!

Unfortunately, we had quite an unpleasant experience with the service at the counter before yesterday. Also, many negative reviews make me think that the service is somehow discriminative towards foreigners by making it difficult to order anything (even when speaking German).

We went to this place today and got very disappointed. My husband ordered 2 peaces of cheesecakes. When returned to our table, he mention to me that the cheesecake has to be the best one for him to otherwise he would not come back to this place since the attendance was unfriendly, we thought it was because he doesn't speak German. And to complete our dissatisfaction, when I eat the first bit it was disgusting!
It looks like it was made over a week ago and it was moldy.
I will never return to this place.
