I contacted Medigo to talk about the medical procedures I wanted done in Curitiba, Brazil. While the initial call was very friendly and seemed hopeful, I got an email from someone in Medigo (no name) saying they forwarded my information to a clinic in São Paulo. If they knew the distance from Curitiba, Brazil to São Paulo, they would be ashamed to make recommendations so far away, after I specifically stated that we will be staying with family in Curitiba. The reps should be educated more about the areas, as well as be more attentive to patient’s needs, acknowledging their desire to stay in one area and not trying to send them far away from the location where they want to be. Poor listening skills and just poor handling of the patient request. I will be contacting the clinics directly and not using the services of Medigo.
