Great place! The food is very tasty (best Kasespatzle I've ever had!), the tap beer os delicious and the staff is super nice!

Nice veal schnitzel, service is quick for drinks. The bathroom is shared with Markhalle.

Very nice authentic Italian food! Like really really authentic with nice Italian staff. They have a board with a daily menu with a bunch of delicious specialities. The staff is more than happy to explain all the items. It feels a little bit like it’s the middle of nowhere, but it’s worth getting there for sure!

New owner. Still a nice place, but I miss the previous/old menu. In the near future they will only serve their own beer. Flensburger will be taken off the menu. The South German beer (Allgäuer Brauhaus) is already gone. They served a great small Schnitzel to my son, even so it's not on the menu. Thanks!

Classically decorated (apart from the rather worrying, vaguely satanic, picture on the back wall) with a big wooden bar and big wooden tables to perfectly accompany the classic Germanic dishes on the menu. I've had the schnitzel here three times now and it's been great every time because it's the sort of classic place where the dishes never change so they nail everything because they've cooked them so many times.

Service is always fast, friendly and efficient, the owner is a character. I'd say it is probably mid priced but the portions are epic and the quality is high.

Unfortunately I believe this long standing restaurant will be departing it's present location around the middle of 2018 due to severe price hikes imposed by the market halle owners so get in there quick

It was a pity. This restaurant has lost its identity, quality, variety and charm with the new management...
I live in Madrid and I went 18 years ago for the first time and in total I had lunch/dinner there maybe 30 times...I will never come back again since the last Thursday experience. Small portions and very bad service...I felt very disappointed and sad. It is a big loss.

We were looking for a traditional German restaurant and we found it! Family dinner with 2 children, the place is clean and not too loud, food is good and with various choices. Prices are ok, standard for Berlin.
Easily accessible by public transportation, a few minutes walk away from different bus stops.
