Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Berlin. They have done an amazing job of retaining the true Indian flavours while mixing it up with some German dishes - ahh the currywurst!!

Kreuz + Kümmel ist a fantastic restaurant with a modern cuisine offer owned by an Indian Chef.

The restaurant / Cafe is very cosy, with a modern decoration and a big counter where you can see the freshly made cakes and desserts.

The food is simply fantastic. Modern, yet with a classical Indian touch. And there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. The desserts are home made and excellent.

And the service is superb and they are children friendly.

Honestly cant wait to go again, I got the Indian twist currywurst ...sauce and spices was amazing. I got the chicken masala for mains and I was nearly licking the pot afterwards. The staff and chef so friendly and great atmosphere for small group of friends.

A really innovative mix of Indian and German /European cuisine with an authentic Indian taste. Possibly the best Indian restaurant in Berlin

I have mixed feelings about this place... While there were things that we enjoyed a lot - the appetizers (currywurst u0026 maultaschen) for example - the main dishes (spare ribs u0026 Lammhaxe) could not really win us over. Also I prefer a lively, more personal atmosphere but - at least during our visit - it felt rather impersonal. Although it was not a bad experience, I did not leave thinking about what I‘ll order next time when I‘ll be back... ????

They recently reopened for dinner and the food was amazing! The owner is from India and adds his own Indian touch to the dishes which is fantastic!
