Great location. Clean rooms. Sauna was a nice extra. The service was nice and helpful at all times. However, uncomfortable matresses spoiled otherwise pleasant experience.

Mattresses and pillows were very worn out. The pillow were very thin and small. Upon request we got an additional set. However, both mattresses were from 2012 (written on them) and quite uncomfortable. After researching I found out that the standard for hotels is to change the every 2-3 years.

7 year old mattresses are unacceptable and next time I will certainly ask for another room.

Another item I missed in the room was a kettle to boil water make tea and coffee

Perfectly placed hotel in the city centre. lots to do and see within walking distance and very close to train station with links to anywhere in Berlin. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very quiet. We had a courtyard view room and were able to sleep with the windows open. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the Mitte district and the old Jewish quarter. Clean, friendly staff and so close to food, transit, arts and history! Beds are very comfortable and if you like saunas your in luck! 2 euros gets you into an amazing sauna after a long day of visiting this amazing city!

We were very happy with our room. It was clean and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. Breakfasts were brilliant. My only complaint was that we had no means of making tea or coffee in our room. The mini bar was well stocked but there was no kettle or access to any coffee making facility for guests. We arrived on a Monday evening when the hotel bar was shut, so we could not even buy a coffee to take up to our room.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Augustinehof to friends and collagues.

A nice hotel in a great location - many nice restaurants and cafés nearby, very close to U-bahn and tram stations. Room was nice and clean with a view of the middle courtyard (not ugly, but not a great view either). The bathroom is quite small and the provided soap/shower gel/shampoo is very drying. Staff is quite nice, but strangely dismissive at times. A double room can go for as little as 70 EUR, which is a great price. Breakfast is not included (a buffet, 15 EUR). There is a bar called BARt in the basement - haven't had a chance to try it.

The hotel is serviceable but nothing special. The rooms are clean and the service is fine and the beds are small. The location is great. It's a good place to throw your luggage down and then explore.
