Another free and citizen-friendly museum day, which I really enjoyed! Especially on a rainy Sunday like today; a visit to a museum is very benefical. Köpenick Castle is on my agenda today.
Spatially well cut. Due to the spacious room design for the individual art objects, they come to the fore in an excellent way! As a visitor you have a lot of space, even with a pram you can easily get through. It's also handicapped accessible and the staff is incredibly patient and helpful! ????
Sure, you can run through it quickly or you can stroll slowly through the museum and linger at certain objects and look a them from different perspectives and enjoy them relish! I really enjoyed the visit and the time flew by...???? (the photos give a little foretaste???? )

PS. By the way the castle park is also very beautiful. Go there quietly in summer and combine the two.

A Boroque palace on a small river island in Köpenick. I can not recommend it as a must but, if you are in Berlin for long time please visit Köpenick and surroundings particularly on a sunny day. The area around the schlos or palace is very beautiful and maintained. There is a small cafe also which offers beautiful views. It is a nice place to hang out.

Nice place to visit. Kind of a museum with exhibitions that shows the wealth of this place. Outside a nice garden. You can sit also near the river.

I visited the köpenick palace surrounding.
Surrounding is also very nice lot of trees and place to sit by the riverside.
Pleasant and calm surrounding.
Palace seems to have a museum and you can buy tickets in advance to visit museum.

Schloss Köpenick is a pretty mid-tier palace experience. It's not somewhere you would go on a short trip to Berlin, but it's absolutely worth a visit if you live in the area and like history. The ceiling work is in tact but not much of the walls or floors. The focus is much more on the furniture that's displayed in a museum-style fashion than a restored-palace fashion. The audio guide is good and included in the ticket price.

The grounds are nice for a walk around or picnic as well and the view on the water is quite nice.

Beautiful palace filled with Baroque and Rococo interiors. With a Jahreskarte, we entered with an audio guide for free. It's located by the river and near Altstadt and the scenery was also good.
