Tastes like a Currywurst, that's it. Probably hard to make "the best" sausage with ketchup in town. It's such a basic meal it will be the same anywhere in Berlin. So don't fall for the hype. Gave 3 as it also expensive. 5 euro for Curry mit Pommes.

A ridiculously touristy place in a dirty location under the U2 Ubahn tracks. In the last ten years this place really turned into a tourist attraction - without much substance behind it. The closest place it reminds me of is Pats cheese steaks in Philly but without tasty food.

Another reviewer mentioned that it's hard to make an amazing sausage with curry Ketchup or to say one place tastes 10 times better than any other. Perhaps it's worth a try if you run out of places to see in the city. I personally wouldn't go there again and there are many more delicious places at which to eat.

Currywurst has a steeped history in Berlin. However, I prefer not to know it. I'm sure the idea of a sausage draped in bog standard curry sauce, with fries that endure the further ignominy of ketchup and Mayo is one that delights visitors to Berlin, as much as it bores those who reside here. Your intrepid reviewer has shown respect for the poor little piggy that has been "processed", and opted for the bratwurst and mustard. The sausage is worth the wait; perfectly brought to heat, snappy skin, revealing a seasoned and fluffy interior. The mustard is decent. The chips sadly come from a place that is as German as a ball park hot dog. Similarly sad is the lack of offer of sauerkraut, with "cabbage salad" another sad concession. It's curious, decent commercial sauerkraut is as ubiquitous here as...well, processed piggies.

One of the best CurryWurst places in Berlin.. it does get crowded so plan a wait of 15min before you get to order. It’s worth the wait and at an amazing price.

Curry wurst is surely not a gourmet dish, but it is an experience worth having when in Berlin. Feels quite authentic having a currywurst under this bridge on a crowded Friday afternoon. There is a small tent right next to the kiosk where to sit down (if not too crowded).

Wow that was the worst curry wurst I ever had and worst food I have had in a long time. What a waste of time being in the line up and waste of money?!?!

I don’t understand what the hype is for. The casing tasted and felt like plastic and the mean in the sausage did not have flavour.

It was just covered in ketchup and not much “curry” flavour at all.
