Quite far away from the city centre, but easy to get to by public transport. The building itself is very nice, but the surroundings are a bit less nice.

Perfectly fine apartments, good for staying in for a cheap holiday in Berlin. Would be 3 stars if not for the very low price, which earns them a fourth.

Beds were comfortable enough. Foam mattresses and synthetic pillows, which were a little lumpy but not too bad. Towels were a little ragged sometimes, but clean. Bathroom grouting could have done with a scrub, but all clean otherwise.

Nice and warm! Heating seemed to be automatic, and it was very nice to come home to after a day in Berlin in January, usually at 0°c.

Not too far out from the city. Our days began with a 10 minute walk to the station and then a 10-15 minute train journey to get you to the central station.

Not too bad. I'd come back for another low-budget break.

The hotel is located in a quiet area which is conviniently located near a S subway. Our room and bathroom was very spacious with enough room for a table and two chairs as well as a mini fridge, kettle, cutlery etc and dresser. However this hotel is only ideal for short terms stays. WiFi is an additional €6 per night and according to the other reviews it seems like it’s not very strong. The shower head can only be held and the water temperature is dodgy. Breakfast is okay - meats, egg , bread, teas and cereal. However is depends what cook you get. Our experience was hit and miss. Whilst not a problem for my friend and I this hotel is not suitable for those with disabilities as there is no lift. There is an eeriness to the property. Very dark inside and it’s cold (not in the rooms though).

Good: Hotel is located in a quiet street. Sheets and room were clean. The room was also huge! We were only 2 people but it would work great for groups, since our bedroom had 4 beds. Beds were very comfy. Room had a table with 4 chairs. The bathroom was clean. The staff were nice and spoke english. There was a kitchen outside of our room.

Bad: far from the metro station. 15-20 min metro ride to city center. We arrived at 9PM and had to get a taxi from the station to the hotel because of how far and dark it was to walk with two big luggage. There are not many food places nearby. We arrived and decided to head out to eat something, and realized it’s a residential area and the restaurants were near the metro station, again, too dark, too far, and too late so we decided to not eat that night (which sucks). There is no soap, no shampoo, no toothpaste, no nothing so bring your own things. Towels are tiny, had to use three to dry myself. Noise from Tegel airport sometimes.

Old building without elevator. WiFi is not free, towels are small and there is no soap. Adequately warm though and spacious room. There are no many things to do in the neighborhood. There are some fast food stores close to train station.

Nice rooms, fairly clean, great backyard with sand, palms, and deck chairs. Beds ok, but mattresses very thin. No smoke alarms, and no fire exit! Also, the website forgot to mention that Tegel Airport is just around the corner, so every few minutes a passenger jet approaches for landing and passes overhead so low that you can actually wave at the passengers. Very noisy. Also, the neighborhood bears more than a passing resemblance to the Bronx.
