Its really perfect for a business lunch - our waiter was wonderful and the service also really good and fast but not sure why there are so many negative reviews about service. I ordered kater bowl the chicken version. It was not good or not bad but I able to finish it. The best thing about it is the location, they have tables just beside the spree and it's perfect when it's sunny day. There are also lot of cafes/pizza places near to this restaurant. I would go again just to enjoy the spree on a sunny and drink something and enjoy the view.

Pleasant dinner in a refined but informal location, tasty food, good list of wine and interesting cocktails. The desserts were not at the same level but I will definitely go back.
I went there in November, can’t imagine how hip it has to be in spring/ summer with tables close to the river. The history of this building is also very interesting and strongly connected to Berlin

It’s a pretty place and the food is good but the prices are too high for what you get.

It was a nice place specially when the sun is out but make sure to make a reservation before you go. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered soup as a starter and 2 main course the, we had the jackfruit ragout with caramelized pumpkin and hash brown, top with Feldsalat. ( not a fan of the jackfruit ragout. ) Vegan special menu with pumpkin, rice, beans and sweet potato. The food came and they were no sweet potato and in addition to that they were smoked tofu that was not mentioned to us and the food was cold. As we mentioned this to the server he offered us to taste the none vegan menu but like the vegan one it was ok, will not order it again though. Going to Berlin for lunch I would say we had a great experience with the location plus a nice weather and the friendly staff made it overall to 4 stars.

Very nice atmosphere and real Berlin-authentic experience with high quality and delicious food! They also have a good wine selection. Located next to the river this is a perfect restaurants for dates but also larger groups. One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin!

Great food and service.
The menu is not too wide, but the selection is very good.

Really friendly bilingual staff! Delicious food with a very romantic candle light ambience next to the river.

Limited menu and pricey, but definitely a must-visit.
