I really enjoyed my evening at Holzmarkt. Very nice setting with several distinct areas. Very local feeling, I didn't see many tourists. I enjoyed a few beers with some colleagues along the Spree. Definitely recommend. Please mind it's "cash only", so plan accordingly.

Best way to spend an afternoon, sampling wines and beers in a chilled out setting. Some great good on offer too! Take some cash as not all stalls accepted card! One of my favourite spots in Germany.

this hangout is creative, colorful and fun. people can participate in the beer garden here under public law. Located directly on the Spree, it offers enough seating, has a nice cafe and although it is crooked with many small corners, it is generously laid out. on warm days it feels like a continuous flow heater but when there is enough beer the heat quickly drops to 37°. it's also a wonderful spot for the sociable guy who likes to be alone. Anyone who misbehaves here will be rewarded with a filigree form of physical warning.

Very interesting place, would recommend anyone visiting this are of Berlin. The vibe it's really different from anywhere else, you can sit have a drink and even some food if you want. Definitely worth the detour.

Really lovely place in the vibrant heart of Berlin. I love to drink some wine, and to eat a pizza in Holtzmarkt. Sometimes there is even a little market. I wish it will happen again.

This is a really nice group of small bars and restaurants. You can order a drink or something to eat at any of these places and take a seat at the river. Maybe you can even watch the sun go down over Berlin.
We chose pizza which got made incredibly fast and was really delicious as well.

Perfect place for chilling with drinks and food with your friends in summers. Very colourful and artsy decor of the bars and eateries. Can get a little crowded though so difficult to find a place sometimes.
