This place not having a 5/5 star rating is a scandal. It is an amazing place, with the most amazing and friendly staff. Even though it is fancy and a bit pricey, the atmosphere is very down to earth and the food is so beyond wonderful. I will for sure be coming back: if not for a full evening course then at least for the amazing oysters and a glass of wine

Highly recommended small and chic modern Italian fine dining restaurant. The small team consisting of one chef and two guys in service, are definitely not having the easiest time, but they manage to make the evening to an exclusive and pleasant experience. The dishes are ideal for sharing, and thus one can try several in one meal. The dishes are very beautifully plated and the quality of the ingredients is high. Very precise seasoning and preparation create a very flavourful and likeable result. The fish trio, steak, onion soup and minute tiramisu were excellent, the beef tartar could have a bit more flavor to it, despite the excellent meat quality and preparation. The pasta was tasty but not interesting or good enough as the other dishes... The white wine recommendation was very good, the red less. Waiting time at the entrance and for the order taking felt slightly too long.
All in all, highly recommended modern Italian cuisine that convinced me in its professionalism and taste.

Karloff is probably one of my favorite Italian fine dining addresses in berlin. Super small and atmospheric restaurant with an open kitchen. The owner itself is outstanding. His knowledge about the products that Karloff is serving is so on fleek and you’ll realize it when he starts telling little stories about very specific ingredients. Let him also recommend you some wine, you won’t be disappointed. A visit at Karloff is for me definitely a memorable experience - in taste and also in hospitality! In my opinion it should be added to Guide Michelin

Great, warm service ! Very tasty food! We ordered 5 dishes and shared all of them. We also received a small starter from the kitchen - shot of cold gazpacho with warm fried bread balls - yummy ! We also had a tiramisu (forgot to take a picture) which was also delicious. Would definitely go back ????

amazing small restaurant with food nothing unlike Michelin star quality! In addition the owner has a perfect feeling of matching wines which are super tasty with the (small) number of dishes on the menu. Don't let yourself be misguided on the "simple" restaurant setting/interior..! the quality vs price is unmatched!

Great selection of flavours and fresh food. Very good selection of natural wines and great hospitality. Very good and cosy find in the heart of kreuzberg.

One of best places in Berlin!!! Ive been with my boyfriend and we wanted to try a bit of everything, he had some half portions of dishes I didnt eat and we shared some of other ones. They already gave us half portions prepared on our plates without asking ❤️ for me everything was prepared gluten free like my boyfriend mentioned lightly before. Staff was super nice and thoughtful, we got exactly perfectly fitted wine like we described and im actually amazed, i went out totally satisfied and we paid fair price, not mentioning my boyfriend got mules for free to try and it was a big plate!!! If you wanna go and try seriously good italian food and are willing to pay fair price for really good ingredients its the place. Respect.
