On first notice it appeared as a cool place to have a coffee and cake at. The waiter was talkative and engaged in explaining some of the cakes offered.
Unfortunately, we had to wait quite some time before receiving our coffee plus after. Two couples, who arrived after us, got served first. The waiter realized that we forget us, but there was no sign of apology nor redemption. The cappuccino served was ok, the brownie disappointing and the decaf latte macchiato horrible. Also the service towards the end wasn't the most friendly one. While paying, the attention shifted completely to another person arriving after, letting us wait. Seems like some people have special conditions over here. Too bad, all starting very promising. Btw, the prices aren't the cheapest. However, try it out yourselves.

I wanted to give this place another try after a nearly raw Crêpe a couple of years ago. Alas none the better! I was with my baby who would be awake any minute and would need to get breastfed so I wanted to quickly get served with a takeaway lunch for me. I had to wait 20 minutes or even more being the only customer and with two waiters there. I have understanding for this - maybe they were preparing what I had ordered for the first time and needed time to figure out how to do it. When I unpacked the stuff at home I found the salad in a plastic box left from Haribo sweets - I even was happy - ok upcycling is a good thing. I thought I wouldn’t think about how sterile it is. Then after a couple of bites I found a thick plastic splitter in my mouth. Well this one I can’t understand - that’s already life endangering...

As always, the best espresso in the neighbourhood. The super friendly owner, Christian, is a wonderful barista with lots of knowledge and great taste. The best!

Coffee is excellent. Breakfast selection is smaller then other places but very delicious. Very cozy place.

So friendly! Very welcoming, excellent soup and amazingly fresh bread purchased from the bakery a couple of doors down. I came here with two friends and we had a lovely time sat outside.

Great little shop. Guy running the counter (owner?) was very friendly and helpful, and spoke essentially fluent English (my German is pretty poor so this was really helpful). Explained menu items and coffee types to my friend who was less familiar with espresso-based drinks. Also helped us with directions afterwards.

The coffee here is quite a bit better than the standard automatic espresso machines most mass-market places have around here. I don't recommend you go out of your way to try it but it's likely the best in the neighborhood if you're up for a cup. Only the specialized third-wave roaster combos in the heart of Berlin were better, and most coffee shops I visited in Germany were a fair bit worse.

Lovely service, nice and cozy ambiance and some unusual but brilliant coffee house playlists (especially if you're into some truly jazzy takes on pop classics).

I love brewing and tasting coffee, but if we're being honest, those are the reasons we prefer a coffee house over others, and this place offers a good mix of them all. Was surprised to find it empty though - people are half the cappuccino's experience. Having recently moved to the neighbourhood, can say it's going to be a local hangout.
