I was with family to spend 3 nights at Jugendgästehaus. We were very much satisfied with many aspects. Friendly and very supportive front office staff. We took 3 bed rooms which has one bunk bed and single bed each. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast is excellent with enough varieties. Property is 900m away from Hauptbahnhof which is very convenient. We got even parking space at the property so that we don’t need search one. Value for money experience! Even with many youth were staying, it was and calm and quiet. Definitely I can recommend!

Competitive price and in the city centre, the hotel in general is humble, clean and has a very friend helpful staff.
when I check-in they help me in fact to got a reduced price instead of the one I booked due to mistake in the web booking system.
room always comes with bunk bed that is great for kids (they are big enough for adults though)

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast can be included for extra cost but totally worth it.
Staff is friendly and can speak English. They do provide a bar service in the evening for those that want to relax in the lounge area. The local area is relatively safe to walk around, even at night. There are also e-scooters (.e.g Lime) that are nearby that you can use to zip to the Hauptbahnhof with.
The rooms are clean, spacious. Thank you for hosting me and for such a good stay!

It's just a 5 min walking distance from Berlin main train station, in a quiet area, clean room and very good breakfast. Family friendly. There is a Netto supermarket just around the corner and playground for children.

It depends what your looking for. I wouldn't recommend for solo female travellers. Location is good but straight away I had problems with beds I was told one bed number only to find out it was in use so I went to reception after a while it was decided that I would have another bed.The bed in question had previously had clothing on it. So I was about dubious but I carried on to make the bed but found hairs.I tried to clean myself only to find more. So I said at desk and asked are they sure it's my bed. Left to explore when I came back it was cleaned which I appreciate but clothing was back on it and I asked at reception got a no it's your bed response. Went back into room asked the two men that were in room and they didn't know so I moved it and left room to have some drinks at bar. Also because one of the guys I overheard thought he might have COVID, I had an early flight so ended up staying up in cafe area when I went back in room at 3ish a man was in the bed.sometimes these things happen but I think for the price there are better hostels with better atmosphere and that are more comfortable. If your looking for one night stay it's ok. There is a ok bar that open 24/7 not great food options. It is close to station. But there is also an other hostel and hotels in area.

We loved our time here, great atmosphere, lovely welcome and the room was clean, fresh and perfect for our family. Really close to the train station too (10 mins walk).

On the bed sheets were tons of hairs and the shower and windows are kind of moldy. Also in the pillow case where weird red dots and I thought they were from my red hair, but I put my own pillowcase on it and mine was completely clean. And one of the workers there was kinda mean. But the breakfast was tasty and they had a lot of options. And it's central.
