The location is great. Rooms are a bit dated and somewhat like people used to smoke in them. No AC and they were out of fans so a couple nights were pretty uncomfortable. It was also kinda weird checking in and figuring out by yourself that you have to walk pretty far back to a separate building from the one you initially enter to find the actual hotel and rooms.

Very close to U2 metro, quiet and calm. Room is clean and comfortable. Only 3 stations to Alexanderplatz.

Remarkably good value; I would definitely stay there again.
Good points:
-- Easy, helpful, check-in and check-out
-- Large room, with chairs, table, besk, wardrobe, and safe; most rooms have a balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the inner court.
-- Comfortable bed with soft mattress (most hotels seem to prefer too-hard mattresses, because they last longer)
-- Ample-sized clean bathroom with good shower, heater, hair-drier, etc.
-- Small kitchen area with fridge, microwave, and hobs: if on a budget you could make your own meals
-- Good optional breakfast for €9: lots of choice, hot and cold, including fresh croissants and blinis with jam and cream
-- Conveniently located next to a tram stop and U-bahn station
Bad points:
None really, except that the décor is a bit dated (which I don;t care about)

Very good location. Clean and spacious rooms with heating and shower working perfect. Efficient service.

To say something … the pillows were not confortable enough for me. But that is a generalized problem in Germany.

The hotel is situated right next to an U bahn station. The room I had was ok. The bed was comfortable. The rooms are in an apartment block overlooking a courtyard, so are quiet. It suited my needs for 5 days exploring the city. The breakfast is very good; self service with lots of choice.

Don't stay here!!! We spent 5 nights in this hotel.
We were getting bites all over us. We found out that it was from bed bugs. The Man at the front desk just dismissed our complaints like it was no big deal and showed me a bite he had on his arm.
This ruined our trip.
There is also no air conditioning.
