Decent price for decent quality, but still I think it is the best offer in Berlin. The advantages: clean toilets amd showers, no extra fees for showers (I really appreciated it), good location - just 11 km from the centre. What I didn't like was a shortage of facilities like cooking space or benches and the fact you can't pay with a card. But I generally recommend this place - clean and peaceful. 2 supermarkets nearby.

EDIT : visitors should note that TEGEL Airport closed in 2021 so aircraft noise is no longer a problem.

The good:
Well connected to public transport. Narrow camping slot by the river , but nice and shaded. Professional check in and welcome.

The bad:
Cash only. I know that Germans are accustomed to paying huge bills in cash, but for many of us, carrying huge amounts of cash on a camping trip is just not something we feel safe doing.
It's 2022 not 1991, so I think it's time for this site to embrace card technology.

Camping is rather small but has all the amenities needed for a short stay. During our 3 days we did not hear any planes. Showers could be cleaner, price is good and special mention to the biergarten waiter who gave excellent service.

Dirty toilets u0026 showers. We stayed there for 4 days, so did someones used q-tips in the showers. Never seen any cleaning person, stinky situation. Chem toilet disposal not working etc. Cash only. All in all, the place is a mess.

Stayed for 3 nights in late September.
WIFI: 1/5, not good in most places.
Enironment: 2/5, a little loud, tenting site is not clean.

My wife and I came to visit Berlin for 4 days / 3 nights.

We stayed at Hotel und City Camping Nord site.

We arrived after 18:00 Friday evening and called the reception on our way there to ask for advice.

They were very helpful and told us we were able to enter the site, choose a pitch for our Motorhome and see the receptionist the following morning.

The site is 8/10 very clean, the showers were nice and clean, the water nice and hot what more could you ask for!

For us a short walk (20 minutes) to PeterSternStrasse metro and you have the U7 line towards Berlin centre.

Very easy way to get around, I suggest the 24 hour ticket. (Don’t forget to validate it!)

All in all very happy and would recommend it, they even gave us a present for our 2 dogs ????

Pleasant and affordable campground by the river. No not the quietest place, and I heard little in the way of airplanes that other people mentioned. Nice to wake up to boats and paddlers going by. Cheap laundry, clean bathrooms, short enough ride(25 mins by motorbike/car) to the city.
Beer garden was nice for evening relaxation. Was nice to have breakfast as an option. Fresh baked rolls with butter and jam available for one euro.
Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the woman who was working the breakfast on my last day. Every other day a nice young woman was very helpful and kind, offered an extra egg when there was one, let me have butter and jam that was there with my coffee and roll. After spending 4 days and spending money there, the older woman with glasses was very rude to me before I left…scolding me for grabbing a small plate and butter/jam to use with the hard roll I just bought from them. When I asked if I could buy a hard boiled egg for the roll she just started getting angry that I asked and it was not part of breakfast. Very rigid and nasty woman. Either wait to interact with the nice young blonde woman working breakfast, or go elsewhere…heads up the angry woman was only on a Monday;)
Otherwise a very pleasant stay for camping, wunderbar!
