The hotel is on the second (European first) floor of a residential building across the street from Winterfeldplatz. The signs are not well lit and the stairwells are worn, but the rooms themselves are newly renovated, large, bright, and very comfortable. You're paying for a nice room in a great location (in the middle of restaurants and a couple blocks from the Ubahn) and not the services associated with hotels. For instance, the front desk is only open 10am - 10pm, but we made arrangements to arrive late and they are available to answer questions via WhatsApp. You also have to pay to use the coffee machine, but you are across the street from a coffee shop and in the middle of many cafes. Our stay was great and my *only* complaint is that the wifi was too slow to do video conferencing. Otherwise, ...
* Great location
* Very friendly
* Very comfortable
My family was very satisfied.

The rooms are really clean and good, its located in old building but the rooms and corridors are renovated, you have privacy there and the room also with street view was not noisy, the young girl in reception was really really friendly person. And this hotel close to u2 subway and good access to everywhere in the city. The best point of this hotel its, for the price its really clean and good.

For convenience (to Winterfeltplatz and Nollendorf area and u-Bahn) and for a good price-quality deal, this small hotel pension is worth visiting. But, it is very popular so you will need to book. Rooms are very clean, a good size, and in-room facilities are great. However, apart from a slightly confusing coffee machine in the corridor, there are few of the facilities found in bigger hotels - no dining room, for example. However, this is no problem because the hotel is above a great corner restaurant, Epsteins, that does what is probably the best all-day breakfast around. Both hotel and the other restaurants and facilties in the area are highly recommended. Enjoy!

If you want a cheap room for a lads holiday then it's great but for a business trip it's too noisy to sleep more than a few hours. Drainage backed up into my room in the night and reception doesn't open till 10am but other than the noise and drainage issue it's very clean and the rooms are of a decent size

Some of the pictures on goodie are outdated. All the rooms are remodeled and clean with hardwood floors and sofa beds. Very affordable considering the location and it located at a corner with 5 great restaurants and bars. You are visiting Berlin not for the hotel room so save some money and stay here.

Good price / conditions report. Staff was friendly. The metro is at 2 min walk . I stayed there few years ago , but now the room they gave me was on the other side of the pension and wasn't so nice.
