Over the last two decades I have often stayed at Pension Fischer. The rooms are modern with excellent showers. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. The management is friendly and full of information about the city.
The location could not be better - two blocks from KaDeWe and the Kaiser Wilhelm church. Also close to the zoo and public transportation. I love this place, and reserve early to be sure I can get a room.

Really cool little hotel and all of the staff are extremely nice! No elevator so you have to carry your things up two flights of stairs but it's not too bad. Also if you are in room #1, your bathroom is not in the room itself but a little down the hall but we weren't there very much during the day so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was awesome! Bread, jams, nutella, lunch meat, etc. Owner is very helpful and knows a lot about the city. The hotel is right across the street from a subway station and it's a short walk to one of the starting locations for a hop-on hop-off tourist bus. Very cool architecture inside as well! Would definitely go back.

We stayed here for two nights, and The location is very convenient, right by a supermarket Netto, and a subway station.

Although the pension provides parking spaces, but there are just few, so we didn’t get one. We ended up with parking in the parking lot around the pension, it’s quite close though, 200meter, and the cost €17 a day. There are many restaurants, shops, and shopping centers around this area.

I think, the only problem are the stairs and air-conditioning. The pension is on the top floor, so you need to carry your luggage is upstairs. There is NO air conditioning in the pension, and it is OK if there’s no heat wave....There is a fan in the room, and that is enough if it is not a hot day.

The best part is the Wi-Fi, although many people like their breakfast, I think that’s just common Continental.

No air conditioning, no refrigerator – maybe this is useful to know. Some said Wifi is weak – I just couldn’t use it for one minute during my 4 day stay, the message on my phone was “Connected, but with no internet”. The location is good (0.5 km from the underground station linked to the city center) and the owner, as mentioned before, helps you with a lot of guidance. Though, there are moments when you don’t feel like you paid quite a good amount of euros for the room, but he rather tolerates you….

Too expensive !!! It is very close to the metro station Augsburger Strasse, on the third floor without lift, it is a little old and without air-conditioning system. It is clean, but the breakfast is poor. No espresso and eggs. It is possible to find better paying the same money.

Reasonably Priced, Central Location, Friendly staff / owner with excellent knoledge of local interests, info and tips.
Will definately visit again.

Small hotel with nice personnep. Just breakfast starts a bit late.
