DO NOT STAY HERE. One side of the hotel adjoins the Penny loading dock and catches the morning heat. You have to have your windows open in summer. This is the better side! The other side faces the outdoor staircase, where the staff confirm that people are permitted to smoke. The smoke coming into your room isnt the worst of it. The smokers hang in the stairwell, using it as a social area. By social I mean clearing throats, spitting, arguing and even fighting. This happens all night and morning. It doesn't matter whether the area is used by "good" guests, or the hooligans we encountered. Noise and smoke are guaranteed.
The rooms themselves are tired and smelly.
The beds cannot be closer than a 10cm gap, so couples beware!
The linen and towels grey from use and poor hygiene.
The breakfast at €15 has to be seen to be believed. (See it before you pay. You'll go to penny next door or a nearby Cafe for a better experience).
The desk team are very nice people, but totally inert. 3 separate front desk people confirmed everything I've written here. So, don't believe their official response.
We left, sleepless and depressed, to another hotel. We tried to get our unused nights refunded. They spoke to the hotel on our behalf, who refused any consideration. That's fine. Enjoy our €600.

We made a busines booking with the hotel for South African participants in a conference. Upon arrival, the participants did not want to stay in this hotel at all cost, but communicated that it was dodgy and more a hostel style establishment. They refused to stay even one night. I cannot judge how justified this assessment was, but share with you what they told us.

Apparently the management told them that we would be reimbursed. Unfortunately the follow up with the hotel was very unsatisfactory. On the telephone the reception referes to management and cannot or does not want to discuss with me, my mails recently only receive error messages (I might have be blocked since the inital ones went through?) and I cannot get anywhere. My intention was to find an amicable solution for the overall 2.000 Euros that have been spend at this hotel without any service, since none of the guest slept there for even one night.

I can only advise you to not book this hotel for business purposes.

The hotel is located in Schöneberg near KaDeWe. Perfect location, it is exactly between the ''two'' city centers (west and east). In the area are plenty of good resturants and bars.

The hotel have nice decorations and paintings. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The hotel have an underground garage and a very good Wi-Fi connection. There is a terrasse if you want to smoke or get some fresh air. There are two subway station nearby.

A good cozy hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and price of the room was reasonable. Train station was very close to the hotel and there were number of restaurants at just a few minutes by walk.
Heating system was not working and I was kind of freezing but thanks to the receptionist who fixed it in about 15 minutes. Hotel is overall very well maintained.

Nice place to stay and good value for money.

We had a 3 person room, which was nice and spacious. The room had a decently sized balcony (although it’s connected to emergency stairs which meant that sometimes the staff would use the balcony as well. The bathroom was fairly big as well.

Right in the middle of the gay district and some cool shops that we wanted to see.

Great little Hotel. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly! There was breakfast in the morning that had everything that you need to start your day. It has a great location and you can walk to many places around the city. I had seen negative reviews here, and it seems like people just like to complain. We had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and need a good place to stay. (Only warning is the parking garage, if you have a bigger/longer car it can get pretty tight if there are many cars.)

My luggage was stolen in this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel in August 2020. We left our luggages at the reception for the day. One of the luggages was stolen, from the reception. The employee refused to collaborate and help us until the police arrived. I really do not recommend this place. The employee are unreliable, superficial, and without any sense of responsibility.
