Warning ! We would not recommend renting an apartment from Hope because they would just deduct some money from your deposit without giving you a detailed information then ignore your emails.
Updated: same as many other previous tenants experience,Hope Apartment’s way to handle customers feedback is simply ignore them,all they have to do is to provide a listed, documented invoice explaining the deduction of the deposit, but they just took it away from you and expect us say nothing!
They charge every tenants so-called final cleaning fee when they moved out, we moved into this nicely furnished apartment, but found it was dirty, the water tank of the oven steamer had never been cleaned, mouldy,lime deposit everywhere on the faucets, under the sofa I found stuff from last tenants, in the sofa I found a kid’s sock ..etc also from last tenants.
The windows were dirty, and there was a self tanning stain on the bathroom wall from the last tenants ( god knows how much they charged them for that stain - but obviously they didn’t even try to clean it off ) we asked them to do the cleaning again, including removing that stain on the wall.
When we moved in, the remote-controlled blinds were not working,especially when there are no curtains in the apartment,which made it difficult for us to sleep , so we asked them to fix the blinds ( took very long time ) but they were still not able to. Finally they offered installing a few plissee in the bedrooms after we insisting on a solution.
Throughout our stay, we only asked them to fix the things that had been broken, for example, the water tank of the Miele oven steamer was broken when we moved in, they told me they couldn’t find anywhere to get the replacement- I went to Miele store in person to get the Telephone number to call, I made a call and got it delivered to me.
They agreed to deducted the cost from our rent, but at the end they charged it all back ????
The Miele wine fridge was also not functioning, and they just gave up on fixing telling us that they don’t know. Which we didn’t insist.
All theses things we have proofs with photos in case anyone would like to see.
If all of the above I mentioned is for Hope Apartment a “ high maintenance “ tenants , then I really hope my statements show what kind of managing team they have.
