What a great find. The good was magnificent, the wine delicious, we just ordered a house Riesling, the waiter polite and charming. The atmosphere relaxing, located in a courtyard away from the busy roads. At the time we had our lunch the restaurant was preparing a party for dinner and the personal working on it were so polite and there pride and joy was contagious.
They will check your vaccination status, the personal wear masks

Nicely redone inside decor. Hasim, the manager, could talk to us all day about Turkish culture in Berlin. Very nice sincere man. The food is all-around delicious. Meze was about 7 different dishes. Kabob was done perfectly.

I love the hasir places. Yes they are pricier than street food, and sometimes you get what is ostensibly street food...in a comfortable setting....with waiter service...and usually a little extra...so, why moan for the extra charge? Adding value is why we go to restaurants, and not stay home and try to figure out how they do it. For us here, a passing snack of their steadily good 2 lentil soup bowls, and fire oven to order bread and cheese is €15 for 2. The service is so friendly, we almost stayed beyond our limited time...just to hang out. That's the thing about the Hasir restos, theyre great places to hang out.

Hasir restaurants are among the high quality places in Berlin, particularly this one and the Beef Clubs near Gendarmenmarkt and Potsdamerplarz (which offer really good and juicy steaks).
Here I recommend Ali Nazik, Kuzu Sis and Köfte.
The staff are usually friendly and helpful unless the place is super busy, like Friday nights, so there might be a bit of a wait to get served.
The interior looks nice and almost upscale, fairly good for formal dinners.
Note that finding a parking spot could be tough in the area.

We had a great last minute dinner here. The food was fantastic, full of flavor in every bite. Each dish had a unique approach which I haven’t seen at most Turkish restaurants, would highly recommend

What an excellent place. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable, stylish setting. We ate all vegetarian and everything was very good. Really good. What a pleasant meal.
I’d eagerly return.

Fantastic food, huge portions and a friendly helpful staff. We had a great time here and loved the whole experience. It’s not cheap, but it’s well worth it.
