Very genuine Chinese food. As a Chinese living in Sweden, I really miss Chinese food, the restaurant is exceptionally GOOD. Sooooooo good! I want to move to Berlin :P Warning, remember to ask the level of spiciness when you order, might be too spicy for you :)

For a Chinese place in Berlin I give it a 4. I say tasty but not authentic. Like you would not put fresh bell peppers into mapo tofu. But it doesn’t make it less tasty.

Most of the reviews have complaints about the service but I find the place fun/full of attitude and idiosyncrasies. Like how there was EDM blasting in the background but classical musician vinyl covers decorating the walls. Or how draft beer is actually poured out of bottles while the owner (who is very cool btw) drinks wine by the counter.

Even we waited for more than half hour to have our dinner but the outcome is worthy. The lamb spine hotpot is amazing, first try in my life as it’s China cuisine but I like the taste. Would love to visit Grand Tang again.

Thats what I call authentic chinese kitchen! We had a hotpot with various vegetables and meat and it's one of the best hotpot you can get in the city.

There's no buffet. You can choose your food and hotpot type by filling out a small piece of paper where you can check the things you want to eat.Comfortableu0026Easy.

The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was kinda packed and the waitress forgot something and we remembered her but everything was okay.We waited around 15-20 Minutes for everything but that's absolutely okay for our amount of food we've ordered.Everything was fresh and delicious.

The Atmosphere of the restaurant is kinda unique for a chinese restaurant and you can see LPs on the wall. For some reason the restaurant played EDM which is kinda confusing and suprised but funny at some point.

We reserved a table in advance and had no problems. The Boss of the restaurant is a cool person and he tattooed the restaurants name on his head as far as I could see.

No signs of racism here...like I've red in other reviews.

A very characteristic cinese atmosphere, the dinner was great and like in the cinese tradition you must share the dinner. If you love the cinese food this is the right place to have dinner!

Taste is not bad, but as a Chinese restaurant, it is a bit overpricing. Average is 20 euro pp. But the waiters/waitresses are friendly!

Cosy restaurant with good dishes. Order carefully if you cannot tolerate spicy food. The Mapo Tofu in the photo below.
