You have to know what to order for a good experience here: samosas, biryani and dal are good. Most sauces are way too bland and creamy and they don’t use a tandoor, like most Indian restaurants in Berlin. Staff can seem probably unintentionally unfriendly. Prices very good.

We happened to be at the restaurant on Sunday when they offered buffet. Excellent food! especially chicken soup and lamb stew with mushrooms.

We were there with Groupon discount for a 5-course dinner. On the pictures you can see what we got. The quality was ok-ish. But as soon as you look around the other tables, you could spot immediately who was coming with Groupon and who not. The portions, the service, the hospitality, and the ambient were way better with non-Groupon tables. We were ripped off big time. I give it a 2-star instead of a 1-star rating because the quality was not that bad. Perhaps good restaurant but they are sending the wrong message with coupons like Groupon.

Why call yourself Goa if you serve no actual Goan food. This place is mediocre in every possible way. Rude staff and shady business practices. Offensive to Goans. Please do not patronize sub par indian places like this.

Excellent food for a reasonable price. We eat until we could not move. The dayly special are for 6€ and come with a full plate of basmati rice and your choice of course. You can ask for a English menu. Good service all around.

We were treated to dinner here on our last night of a long holiday in Berlin. I had the Scampi Vindeloo, and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it was one of the most enjoyable dishes I’ve ever had. Indian cuisine is one of my absolute favorites and I have no shortage of options in my hometown, but this was something else. Literally every ingredient was cooked perfectly. The menu promised it would be “Scharf,” and it definitely delivered the heat without overwhelming the layers of flavor underneath. Service was extremely prompt, professional and well-paced. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and drinks. Overall it was an extremely memorable evening and I’ll be dreaming about that dish until I’m back in Berlin again.

Really nice food, the current average rating is way too low imo :)
